Did You Know?

  • Our LCNS families come to us from many neighboring communities, such as Deerfield, Buffalo Grove, Long Grove and Vernon Hills, in addition to Lincolnshire
  • A parent and tot class is offered as a preschool introduction for children 18 months to two years old
  • A new Spanish and movement enrichment class, Movin' with Amigos, will be offered as of September

Welcome to Lincolnshire Community Nursery School (LCNS)

For 40 years, LCNS has been providing rewarding preschool programs that encourage children to learn through hands-on discovery and play. We serve students in Lincolnshire, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Vernon Hills, Lake Forest and other surrounding communities.


LCNS is proud to be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). For more information about NAEYC Accreditation, please click here. LCNS also has a Gold Circle of Quality rating at Excelerate Illinois.

Would you and your children like to be in the Lincolnshire July 4th parade? We are looking for families to ride on the LCNS float or walk with a stroller or wagon. Our local police officers will be participating in the Cop on a Rooftop Program to support Special Olympics.
