We are very excited here at LCNS for the celebration of Arbor Day! The village of Lincolnshire chose us to be this years recipient of a new tree to help the village celebrate the importance of trees in our wonderful community. On Friday, April 24th, LCNS along with the village of Linclolnshire is planning a tree planting demonstration starting at 12 noon. The whole school is invited to help celebrate this special day. In order to make this day memorable, the teachers and children of LCNS have been very busy reciting a poem, singing a tree song, and learning all about the "Tulip Tree" which will be planted on our property.

Please plan to join us on Friday, April 24th at 12 noon. All students and their families are invited. Any student that is already here for EAGLES will eat their lunch first and then join us outside for the tree ceremony. Any other am/pm 3's or pre-k students that want to bring their lunch and eat at school starting at 11:30, you are invited to do that and the teachers will be eating too. The Arbor Day celebration will last approximately 1/2 hour and classes will follow as usual. You will not want to miss this special celebration!
